Unbeknownst to the working class residents of a Central Florida trailer park, the land underneath their homes is being sold as they each work to make ends meet.  When they discover their homes are threatened, they must face fears resulting from their own feelings of “uselessness” that also stem from their efforts to stay afloat economically.   In the struggle to overcome their greatest fears and crippling feelings of uselessness, each character discovers that they possess the strength to transform their lives for the better.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT

My goal as a filmmaker is to make films that deal with the internal conflicts of their characters with subtlety, humor, and emotional honesty.

I was raised in the South and have long desired to make a film that depicts the vitality, quiet determination and strength of the diverse people I’ve known throughout the region.  My aim is to give the area a voice in cinema and show that they are every bit as interesting and complex as people who live anywhere else in the world.
